Drum roll, please. I didn’t hit my goal of printing five new cards (wah wah) over the holidays, but life got in the way, majorly.

Anyway, our Elbow Grease Letterpress Etsy shop is finally up with … wait for it … three cards.

I decided to close down the old shop with the old name, because I had set it up using my personal ID/name in 2010 and besides, Elbow Grease needs to start fresh. New identity, new voice, etcetera. So I lost all whopping 12 sales and I dunno, two admirers. I’ll just ask my co-workers to buy some cards and give ‘em their money back. Just kidding. I would NEVER.

Printed the “My Heart Soars” Valentine’s Day letterpress card collection over the week. OK, maybe two don’t really constitute a collection. We’re in the middle of printing a third one, featuring a kite, that has three colors and is taking forever and a day to finish. I hope to be done before Valentine’s Day eve.

Andrew drew both by hand.

I designed the “thx!” one all by myself. It was so hard.

Ohhhh, I LOVE letterpress! I had a class in college and nothing like moving those slugs around! Let me know how I can spread the word. It’ll be a great personalized gift for my growing team! Good work, to you, too, Andrew! :)

Thanks for the support, Sandy! I remember your invoices always came in cute little envelopes. Maybe we can custom-print some for you and your team? Just one of many ideas.

I love these, especially “hearts on a wire” – good job, you two.
